Bible Passage: Rom 3:22-24 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Sin has consequences. We are powerless to reestablish our broken relationship with God as a result of sin. Our good works can never satisfy the justice of a holy God. Surrender is the answer, as we trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, walking by faith.

First, we need to understand that we have sinned against God, disobeying our Creator. Second, God has established His means of reconciliation that we must accept. Finally, we must embrace Jesus Christ, God’s way to eternal life.

All have sinned and must choose, but this choice is not an event, but a lifestyle of daily surrender, sacrifice, and service. Reconciliation is made by choice, not through action. Our actions are a result of choice. May we always and in every way follow the example of Christ, surrendered and ready to serve.
